College Fee Schedule

St John Bosco College is committed to providing a quality education. College fees are set by the College with guidance from CEWA and endorsed by the College Advisory Council.

Fee accounts are invoiced annually and distributed to families by email in Week 4 of Term 1.

Application Fee

Parents/Guardians may enrol a student by completing an Application for Enrolment Form and paying the non-refundable Application Fee of $35.00 (including GST).

Payment of the Application Fee does not guarantee an interview or the admission of a student to a place in the College.

Enrolment Fee to Confirm Admission

Admission of a student to a place in the College follows the successful completion of an interview and the payment of a non-refundable or transferable Enrolment Fee of $200.00.

This fee is credited against the first College Fees account and is non-refundable should the enrolment be withdrawn prior to the student’s commencement at St John Bosco College.

Each person who signs the Enrolment Form accepts legal responsibility for payment of College

Tuition Fees and Levies

Tuition Fee
The Tuition Fee covers the ongoing teaching, support and administration staffing costs at the College.

Amenities Fee
An additional fee per student per annum is charged to cover the cost of art and craft materials, photocopying, book sets and other materials required in the classrooms.

Building Levy
Contributions towards this fund assist with the commitment towards capital facilities for your children. The Building Levy will be included on your account – please note this is an annual fee per family.

Friends of St John Bosco Levy
This fees goes towards Friends of St John Bosco initiatives to improve College resources and services.

Excursion / Incursion Fee
This fee per student per annum is charged to cover the cost of incursions, excursions, specialist lessons and bus travel.

ICT Levy
This contributes to the ICT infrastructure of the College and specialised hardware in the College as well as costs for insurance for the individual College devices.

Insurance
All students will be covered by a comprehensive accident insurance policy which covers students for accidental injuries. This policy should not be considered as a replacement for private health insurance. Parents are advised to check their Health and General Insurance policies to ensure adequate medical, personal property and liability insurance cover. The College does not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal effects and property, or liability incurred by students for property damage.

Additional Fees and Charges

Kindergarten Occupation Therapy and Speech Assessment
The cost of $120 per child in Kindergarten.

Year 3 – Year 6 Swimming lessons
This cost of $128.00 per child from Year 3 – Year 6 .

Year 6 Camp
This cost is an additional to the above fees schedules. The annual Camp fee is subject to supplier charges but we anticipate they be in the vicinity of $400 per student.

Primary Booklist
Booklist items will be supplied by the College. It will be an additional cost invoiced to the parents.

Secondary Booklist
The Secondary Booklist will be sent to every parent/guardian during Term 4. This outlines the resources that will be required including books, stationery and digital subscriptions.

From time to time other costs may occur that are additional fees, however the College will make every effort to keep extra charges to a minimum.

Annual Billing

All fees and charges are invoiced annually and emailed to families at the commencement of the academic year in Term 1. Fees may be paid by BPAY, EFTPOS, Direct Debit, Credit Card or Cash.

Health Care & Pensioner Concession Card Holders

Please contact the College Administration within two weeks of the commencement of Term 1 to check your eligibility for the CECWA HCC/PCC Discount Scheme. This scheme assists all families that hold a current Family Health Care Card or selected Pensioner.

Late Non-Payment

Parents who are unable to pay fees by 28 October 2022 must contact the College Fees Officer to make alternative arrangements. The College will follow up outstanding accounts with an interview with the Principal and the Dean of Finance. The College reserves the right to take legal action for the recovery of fees not paid by due date.

Please note that you will be liable for any fees incurred in collecting these monies.

Notice of Withdrawal

Please be advised that if you intend leaving St John Bosco College, the Principal must be given one full term notice in writing prior to the pending withdrawal of a student from the College. Payment of one term’s fees is required when less than one term’s written notification of withdrawal is not given. Any outstanding fees must be paid in full prior to departure unless a payment arrangement has been approved by the Principal.

Sibling Discounts

Tuition fees for siblings of current College students are discounted at the following rates:

    • 2nd child 20%
    • 3rd child 40%
    • 4th child & beyond 100%
